  • Eat

Judges Court is a room only hotel. The vibrant city of York offers a huge range of fantastic places to eat.

With so many options for breakfast, brunch, lunch or evening dining on our doorstep we feel that the choice should be yours.

We are happy to help you with recommendations to suit your taste.

  • Drink

York has perhaps the most pubs per square mile of any city in the country (supposedly one for every day of the year). You shouldn’t have any problem finding somewhere to get a drink.

There is something for everyone from the quirky House of Trembling Madness to traditional pubs and cool wine bars. See our City Secrets page for more ideas.

  • Parking

The beauty of Judges Court is that it is situated within York’s medieval city walls.  As the hotel is located off a pedestrianised street, car access is limited.  We are only a short walk from the train station. If you are bringing a car it’s possible to drop off bags between the hours of 5.00pm -10.30am. Parking is widely available in York City Council car parks. Marygate, Bootham Row and Clifford’s Tower car parks are only 500 metres away, our preferred choice would be Marygate as you can pay on departure for only the time required (Postcode YO30 7DT)
